Mr. Mark Allen King, of Tiptonville, passed away Sunday March 8, 2026 at his home. He was born September 26, 1963 in Livonia Michigan to the late Jim and Jonnie Sue King.
Mark was proud to work as an over-the-road truck driver for Tyson Foods. He was a talented artist, always sketching and coloring things of interest to him. He was a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast at heart. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his dog, Boss. He is remembered as a jack-of-all trades, able to fix most anything. Long drives in his classic yellow Pontiac Grand Prix brought him much joy.
Mark is survived by his brother, Tim Bancroft, of North Richland Hills, TX, his cousin Beth Bartlett of Ridgely and his faithful Great Pyrenees companion, Boss. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jonnie Sue Haynes King, his father, James "Jim" King and a brother, Steve King.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Dyersburg Funeral Home Tiptonville Chapel on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Mr. Nick Wilson. Interment will follow in Cobb's Chapel Cemetery in Hornbeak, TN. with Tim Bancroft, Kelly Bartlett, Pam Elliott, Tony Loden and other friends and family members honored to serve as pallbearers.
