Mr. Mark Walton Irvin, age 60, of Dyersburg, TN passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021 at West Tn Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital after a brave battle with cancer, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Mark was born on April 19, 1961 in Dyersburg, TN to Travis and Luna May Irvin. He loved working in the service of the Crockett County Sheriffs Dept, Dyer County Sheriffs Dept, District G Constable and the Dyer County Food Bank as well as many other charitable organizations. He was devoted to his family and community. He worked 20 plus years at Colonial Rubber. He was a member at Cumberland Presbyterian Church and very involved with the Dyer County Fair.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be Friday, August 6, 2021 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home conducted by Chaplin Steven Sutton. Internment will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Carlin Turpen Irvin; a son, River Irvin; his three step-sons, Gabriel and Stephan Davis and Colton Fowler (Bree Seavers); his father, Travis Irvin (Gay); his two brothers, Jimmy Irvin (Pam) and Tommy Irvin (Deb); one sister, Elaine Rogers; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Luna May Irvin of Cool Springs, TN.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Dyer County Community Cancer Fund in Dyersburg.
