Mark David Hayes, age 54 of Hornbeak, TN passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on July 27, 1968 in Hammond, IN to Betty Windsor Hayes and the late Milton "Pete" Hayes. Mark was a crane operator for IUOE Local 181 Union. In his younger years he worked for Wrights Matts in St. Francesville, LA as a mechanic and heavy equipment operator. Mark also was the owner of Red's Run-In Shelters for many years. He worked many years to provide for his family that he dearly loved. Mark was known as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend too many.

The family will receive visitors from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Dyersburg Funeral Home Tiptonville Chapel. Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. at the Tiptonville Chapel conducted by Bro. Chuck Graham.

Survivors include his wife, Tammie Maxwell Hayes of Hornbeak, TN; his mother, Betty Windsor Hayes, of Tiptonville, TN; one son, Mark Caleb Hayes (Heather) of Newbern, TN; one daughter, Carli Maxwell of Tiptonville, TN; one brother, Kenneth Hayes of Tiptonville, TN; two sisters, Becky Rodriquez (Jerry) and Shelia Walley (Robert) both of Tiptonville, TN; and one granddaughter, Evelyn "Evie" Hayes.

In addition to his father, Mark was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herbert & Flora Windsor and his paternal grandparents, Jack & Ora Hayes.
