Obituary

Marjoria Maxine Lindley, 85, of Newbern, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a homemaker. Mrs. Lindley attended Cornerstone Church of God and was a former member of First Baptist Church in Halls.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cornerstone Church of God with the Rev. Jason Houston officiating and assisted by the Rev. Dennis Hogue. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home and from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Weast and husband, Jerry, of North Potomac, MD; four sons, Robert Lindley and wife, Janice, of Newbern, Donny Lindley and wife, Toby, of Aurora, CO, William Lindley and wife, Latrease, of Frisco, TX and John Lindley and wife, Sarah, of Flower Mound, TX; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first late husband, Robert M. Lindley; her late husband, Cecil D. Lindley; her parents, Clarence and Lillie Stafford Fisher; two sisters, Tennie Gooch and Gloria Dean Gooch; and a brother, J.W. Fisher.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Bradley, Ryan Bradley, Brian Lindley, Jerry Hall, Brad Weast and Jerry Weast.
