Marilyn Rose Smith, 67, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Marilyn was born on August 22, 1955, in Memphis, TN, to the late Tyndle and Pernie Tittle McKeown. She was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church. Marilyn was a homemaker and her family was her life.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2023 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Turner officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at the Dyersburg Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel.

Survivors include her husband, Frankie Smith of Ridgely, TN; a son, Brad Smith (Lisa) of Paris, TN; a daughter, Kim Price of Tiptonville, TN; two brothers, Steven Williams of Union City, TN and Tony McKeown (Patti) of Potts Camp, MS; three sisters, Carolyn Jones (Kenneth) of Troy, TN, Melinda Walker (Richard) of Water Valley, MS and Delores Darnell of Troy, TN; and seven grandchildren, Nick Price, Ben Price, Mary Helen Smith, Ava Smith, Owen Smith, Chelsea Bowling and Hailey Johnson.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Kelly.

Pallbearers will be Nick Price, Ben Price, Causton Johnson, Bart Smith, Josh Williams and David Jones.
