Marie Owen Williamson, age 93, of Bartlett, TN, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025, at her residence.

Born on July 17, 1931, in Dyersburg, TN, she was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Gladys Evans Owen. Marie was a dedicated caseworker for the Social Security Administration and a certified graphologist. She pursued her education at Memphis Business School from 1950 to 1952, following her graduation from Dyersburg High School in 1949.

Her commitment to community service was evident through her role on the Board of Directors of the N.W. Counseling Center from 1983 to 1988. Marie was also a cherished member of the West Dyersburg Church of Christ. Marie had a passion for reading and was known for her love of books. She will be remembered for her contributions to her community and her unwavering faith.

Services will be at 12 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2025 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Carl Mills officiating. The family will receive visitors beginning at 10 a.m. until service time.

Survivors include her daughter, Anita Williamson Ros of Bartlett, TN; a son, Douglas Wayne Williamson (Pam) of DeFuniak, FL; six grandchildren, Carol Beth Powell (Bobby), Jarrod Douglas Webb (Heather), Jeremy Williamson (Jayme), Benjamin Williamson, Brittany Williamson Carter (Zach) and Peyton Williamson (Breana); nine great-grandchildren, Madison Baker, Mason Webb, Madyson Via, Tanner Williamson, Eathan Christianson, Bryce Carter, Abigail Carter, Caden Williamson and Zander Williamson; and one great-great-grandson, Fisher Page.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Doug Williamson; and three brothers, Arthur Owen, Jr., Robert Owen and Lowell Owen.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jarrod Douglas Webb, Mason Webb, Jeremy Williamson, Peyton Williamson, Pat Owen, Ethan Christianson, Bobby Powell, Zach Carter and Rick Crawford.
