Margie Louise Hayes, 89, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at her residence.

Margie was born on December 31, 1929, in Nauvoo, TN, to the late, Joe Daniel Watson and the late Louise Adkins Watson Phillips. She was a homemaker and a very active lifelong member of Southside Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Loren Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home and from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her six daughters, Kay Paschal Lopshire, Jennifer Paschal Viera and Charlene Paschal Riggs, all of Dyersburg, TN, Sheila Patterson of Newbern, TN, Rhonda Paschal of Las Vegas, NV and Sherry Ray of Roellen, TN; six sons, Larry Paschal and Joe Paschal, both of Dyersburg, TN, Eddie Paschal of Memphis, TN, Allen Paschall of Bartlett, TN, Roger Paschal of Westminster, CO and Ricky Hayes of Newbern, TN; a sister, Lois Paschal of Dyersburg, TN; twenty-eight grandchildren; fifty-four great-grandchildren; and twenty-five great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Hayes; two sons, Roy Paschal and Vester Paschal; and three sisters, Josephine Tipton, Vernice Acklin and Bessie Childress; two brothers, Robert Watson and Daniel Watson; and two great-grandsons.

Pallbearers will be Adam Lowery, Blake Lowery, Thomas McIntosh, Joseph Paschal, Nathaniel Paschal and Brad Goodman.
