Margie Louise Ashley, 80, of Kenton, TN, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Dyer Nursing Home in Dyer, TN.

She was born on July 15, 1938, in Selmer, TN, to the late Robert and Gladys Hicks Cooper. Margie was a homemaker and was a member of New Concord Baptist Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at New Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Witherspoon and the Rev. Rodney Gregg officiating. Burial will be in New Concord Cemetery in Kenton, TN. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home and from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the church.

Survivors include her son, Keith Ashley of Dyersburg; a daughter, Kathy Greer and husband, Jack, of Kenton; a sister, Carolyn King of Troy; and two brothers, Larry Cooper of Kenton and Barry Cooper of Union City.
