Margaret Deaton Davis, 90, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Gibson General Hospital in Trenton.
She was a retired secretary for Home Beneficial Life Insurance Company and a member of Fowlkes Methodist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Fowlkes Methodist Church with Bro. John Lowrance officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home and from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Survivors include her two sons, William E. Davis and wife, Barbara, of Dyersburg and Wilson W. Davis and wife, Judy, of Baldwyn, MS.; seven grandchildren, Dawn Alexander and Will Davis, both of Dyersburg, Anthony Davis and Wilson W. Davis III, both of McKenzie, Wendy Davis of Memphis, Amanda Davis of Gibson and Kristie Davis of Chapel Hill; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson W. Davis, Sr.; two brothers, Charles Richardson and J.O. Richardson; and a granddaughter, Melanie Davis.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Davis, Wilson W. Davis III, Danny Joe Richardson, Charles F. Richardson, Jeff Yarbrough and Chris Faulkner.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Fowlkes Methodist Church.
