Maggie Mae Perkins, 97, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.

She was born on May 2, 1920, in Lake County, TN, to the late Joe Carrington and the late Della McTurner Carrington. Mrs. Perkins was a homemaker and was also a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Aaron Bargery officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her two daughters, Joyce Whitson and Brenda Poiner, both of Tiptonville; two sons, Johnny Perkins and Ovid Perkins, Jr., both of Tiptonville; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ovid Curtis Perkins, Sr.; and four sisters, Golden Perkins, Ruby Farmer, Edna Reynolds and Eva Higdon.

Pallbearers will be Zach Bargery, Jake Bargery, Hunter Perkins, Cody Perkins, Bradley Tubbs, Jason Perkins and Chris Tubbs.
