Maggie Milan Dixon, 88, of Finley, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2014 at her residence.

She was a retired licensed practical nurse and a member of Finley United Methodist church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Gunter officiating. Burial will be Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include a daughter, Leatha Morrow (Robert) of Dyersburg; two stepdaughters, Ruth Chandler (Jere) of Birmingham, Ala. And Jean McGarrity (Douglas) of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Inez Jones of Hammond, Ind.; three grandchildren, Jerry Bell, Kenny Milan and Joey Milan; five step grandchildren; and eight step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Monroe Milan and Elston Dixon; two sons, Norman Milan and Joe Milan; and her parents, Porter and Edith Johnson Holland.

Pallbearers will be Walter Wilson, Farrell Sellers, Chris Sellers, Kenny Milan, Tim Jones and Stacey Curtis. Honorary pallbearers will be Evan Bell, Bobby Franks and Wade Franks.
