Mae Wilbanks Lane, 81, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.

She was born on February 28, 1936 in Ridgely, TN, to the late Kirkland Wilbanks and the late Lillie Greer Wilbanks. Mrs. Lane was a retired waitress for Gooch's Dining Room and was also an employee of Lakeview Grocery.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Wilbanks officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Dyersburg Funeral Home Tiptonville Chapel.

Survivors include her three daughters, Connie Byrd and husband, Jimmy, of Tiptonville, Lisa Gail Lane of Dyersburg and Lori Ann Long and husband, Michael, of Tiptonville; two sons, Steven Michael Lane of Dyersburg and David Edward Lane of Knoxville; two sisters-in-law, Mary Reed of Samburg and Winnie Wilbanks of Wagoner, OK; five grandchildren, Eric Byrd, Brian Byrd, Michael Fulcher, Kelli Blankenship, and Katelyn Long; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Lane; four sisters; and three brothers.

Pallbearers will be Brian Byrd, Eric Byrd, Jimmy Byrd, Ricky Blankenship, Michael Long and Michael Fulcher.

The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
