Madgie Lurine Gilliland, 84, of Halls, died Friday, April 2, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was a homemaker, a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ and a lifetime member of P.T.A.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Ralph Bruce officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a son, Edward D. Gilliland of Halls; two grandchildren, Raymond Ivory Gilliland and Richard Edward Gilliland; and two great-grandchildren, Wyatt Ivory Lee Gilliland and Khloe Jean Gilliland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Gilliland; her parents, William A. and Effie Hilliard Sipes; a sister, Christine Davidson; three brothers, Richard Sipes, Leonard Sipes and Elmo Sipes; and a grandson, Robert Darrell Gilliland.
Pallbearers will be Tony Marotti, Todd Marotti, Jason Ray, Gabriel Davis, John Roberts, Greg Hayes and Glenn Campbell.
