Mr. Mackie Gene Enochs, of Tigrett, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at his home.  Mackie was born October 15, 1955 in Dyersburg, TN to the late Eugene & Barbara Enochs,  He spent his working career with Colonial Rubber Works and in retirement got to spend a plenty of time at his favorite place.  He loved playing golf and working as a Course Marshal for the Dyersburg Municipal Golf Course where he greeted everyone with a smile and a wave.  He is remembered for his sense of humor, his caring nature and outgoing personality.  He truly never met a stranger.

Mackie is survived by his sons Corey Gene Enochs (Ashley) and Jared Wade Enochs (Jen) and daughter Jessica Anne Smith (Daniel), his sisters Vicky White, Tammy Berry and Joy Kay Smith and his long-time best friend, Mike Reedy.  He was loved greatly as "Grandpaw" by his nine grandchildren, Gracie Enochs, Riley Enochs, Haveen Orman, Kamrie Smith, Carlee Boldon, Brody Smith, Cassie Boldon, Emma Boldon and Avery Smith.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Greg Earl Enochs.

Visitation wil be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m.  Funeral Services will follow on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.  in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home, conducted by Bro. Royce McGuire.  Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
