Mackey Freeman Ligons, 75, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.
He was born on September 1, 1942, in Tiptonville, TN, to the late Cecil Ligons and the late Lillie May Perkins Ligons. Mackey was a retired farmer.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Clayton Mahan officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The Ligons Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the funeral home.
Survivors include his two daughters, Lisa Jones (Ken) of Hornbeak and Marie Underwood (Chris) of Troy; three sons, Jimmy Ligons (Larita), Nicky Ligons (Julie), all of Ridgely and Ricky Ligons of Wynnburg; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Willdean Ligons; three sisters, Janie Batts, Rose Chamblee and Hazel Butler; three brothers, Steve Ligons, James William Ligons and Junior Ligons; and a granddaughter, Ashleigh Ligons.
Pallbearers will be Steven Ligons, Tyler Ligons, Mackie Underwood, Ken Jones, Corey Ligons and Tommy Hopper.
