Mack Coy Garrett, 76, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Mack was born on July 4, 1944, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late J.B. and Virdie Dunivant Garrett. He was a retired firefighter for the Dyersburg Fire Department and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Mack was a Baptist by faith.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2020 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The Garrett Family will receive visitors from 1-3 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his two sons, Darrell Garrett of Tiptonville, TN and Shannon Garrett of Lexington, TN; a brother, Robert Dan Garrett of Dyersburg, TN; three sisters, Wanda Wildenberg of Taylor, PA, Ramona Beatrice Shannon of Union City, TN and Tommie Sue Garrett of Orlando, FL; and five grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mack was preceded in death by a son, Michael Dewayne Garrett.

Members of the Dyersburg Fire Department Honor Guard will serve as pallbearers.
