Lynda L. Jackson's Obituary
Lynda L. Jackson, 77, of Dyersburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was a retired employee for Heckethorn Manufacturing. Mrs. Jackson was a member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg and a member of the Eastern Star. A very devoted Christian, she was actively involved with the Dyer County Jail Ministry. She was a member of XYZ Group and active with Dyer County Transitions.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Hickman officiating. All friends are asked to gather at the cemetery prior to the service. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her brother, Teddy Michael Jackson of Dyersburg; two nieces, Kristi Luckett and husband, Mark, of Dyersburg and Jennifer Chaboya and husband, Nathan, of Tulsa, OK; one nephew, Teddy Michael Jackson II and wife, Sarah, of Fowlkes; and four great-nieces, Chelsea Atkeson, Kaitlyn Permenter and husband, Michael, Karley Jackson and Kaylee Luckett.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton and Nellefern Newman Jackson; and a nephew, Steven Thomas Jackson.
Pallbearers will be Mark Luckett, Rodney Henry, Joe Wood, Robert Sewell, Clayton Hayes and Joe Gibson III.
