Lula Mae Wilson, 91, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at AHC of Dyersburg.

Lula Mae was born on February 20, 1933, in Kilgore, TX, to the late Bud and Zearl Naylor Hester. She was a cashier for K-Mart and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Halls. Lula Mae loved to sew quilts, read and go to church. She enjoyed camping with her family and singing. She loved people and liked to help them when she could.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Scott, Bro. Tommy Roper and Bro. Calvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her two daughters, Sandra Ramey (Burton) of Dyersburg, TN and Phyllis Baker (Larry) of Fowlkes, TN; a son, David Wilson of Dyersburg, TN; five grandchildren, Brent Wilson, Rachel Simpson, Michael Hendrix, Melinda Ramey and Janice Brown; thirteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Lula Mae was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Wilson; a son, Jimmy Wilson; a sister, Betty Lou Smith; and three brothers, Billy Joe Hester, Odell Hester and Buddy Hester.
