Lula Janette Campbell Spence, age 70, of Tiptonville, TN passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013 at her residence.

She was a retired Correctional Officer at the Northwest Correctional Complex and a member of Wynnburg Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 3 P.M. at the Wynnburg Baptist Church with Bro. William Calhoun officiating. Burial will be at Crockett Chapel Cemetery in Tiptonville.

Pallbearers will be James Hyde, Andrew Hyde, Kevin Knight, Josh Mathenia, Kenneth Hemshrot, and George Hall.

The family will receive visitors Saturday evening 5:30 - 8:00 at Wynnburg Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Wynnburg Baptist Church or the charity of the donor's choice.

Ms. Spence is survived by three daughters, Paige Baty (Darrell) of Troy, TN, Paula Hemshrot (Kenneth) of Rome, NY, Jennifer Hyde (Jim) of Tiptonville, TN; one son, John Spence (Margaret) of Tiptonville, TN; one brother, Jerhald Harrington of San Antonio, TX; two sisters, Patricia Lynch and Judy Calhoun both of Tiptonville, TN. She is survived by eleven grandchildren, Heather Cerniglia, Chelsea Mathenia, Lacye Knight, Keisha Rosales, Kenneth Hemshrot, John Mark Spence, Justin Spence, Caleb Scott, Whitney Hyde, James Hyde, Andrew Hyde; and twelve great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Arlene Catt Campbell.
