Lucy Edna Moore's Obituary
Lucy Edna Moore, 87, of Tiptonville, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
She was a retired employee of Dairy Queen, a Baptist and an avid gardener.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Lake Memorial Gardens in Tiptonville with Dr. Carl Mills officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Edna Mills and Elaine Haggard, both of Tiptonville; a son, James "Buddy" Moore of Tiptonville; five grandchildren, Mistee Osteen Johnson, Tammy Osteen King, Chris Walton, Lewis Walton Jr. and James "Buddy" Moore Jr.; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Henry "Bud" Moore; and her parents, Oather and Myrtle Wiggins Price.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Simmons, Johnny Dean, Greg Williams, Craig Williams, Frank Tatum and Dwayne Haggard.
