Lucille Gurley, 94, of Dyersburg, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 at The Bridge at Ridgely.

She was a retired beautician and worked for the election commission for several years. Lucille was also a member of Finley United Methodist Church.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy McElyea officiating. Friends and family members are asked to meet at the cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her son, Michael Andrew Gurley of Cincinnati, OH; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Willard Gurley, Sr.; a daughter, Glenda Godwin; her parents, Richard Lowe and Minnie Winchester; and four brothers, Alton Lowe, Leslie Canada, Bobby Winchester and Max Winchester.
