Lucille Virginia Dalton's Obituary
Lucille Virginia Dalton, 92, of Dyersburg, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.
Lucille was a homemaker and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Crandall officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 12-1 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her son, George H. Rice, Jr. and wife ,Glenda, of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Roger Rice of Dyersburg and Susan Rice Moore and husband, Moose, of Friendship; and two great-grandchildren, Kristen Rice and Hunter Rice, both of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon G. Dalton; her parents, J.E. and Elvira Attaway Brown; two sisters, Mary Ford and Catherine Moody; and two brothers, Floyd Brown and Carl Brown.
Pallbearers will be Bill Pike, Toby Horner, Roger Rice, Larry Riggs, Kenneth Neal and Hunter Rice.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Hillcrest Baptist Church or to the Dyersburg/Dyer County Humane Society.
