Loyce Virginia King, 96, of Morrow, Ga., formerly of Dyersburg, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2011 at Laurel Park Nursing Home in Stockbridge, Ga.
She was a homemaker and a 40-plus-year member of Phillips Street Church of Christ.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Alvin Chapman and Bro. Jeff Golson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 3-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include three daughters, Nancy Hargis of Morrow, Ga., Betty Manley of Stockbridge, Ga., and June Bonham of Millington; a son, Max King of Nashville; a sister, Maxine McCarter of Millington; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Floyd King; a son, Alton B. King; and her parents, Monty B. and Della Smith Oakley.
Pallbearers will be Jason Sharp, Michael Underwood, John Swinney, Tony Hart, Ronnie Hart, Jimmy McCarter, Wendell Hart and Robert F. King.
