Lowell Thomas "Tommy" Gentry, Jr., 56, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.

He was born on January 20, 1961 in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Lowell T. Gentry, Sr. and the late Annie Jeanette Moore Gentry. Tommy worked in bridge construction.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. J.R. McCrary officiating.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Gentry of Dyersburg; three sons, Levi Gentry and wife, Wendy, of Finley, Kyle Gentry and Eric Gentry, both of Nashville; his step-children, Tina Miller and husband, Wes, of Martin, Jason Harville and wife, Missy, of Greenfield, and Daniel Gibbons and wife, Jessica, of Dyersburg; two sisters, Kippie Gentry Scarborough and husband, Brian and Stacey Gentry Sorrell and husband, William, all of Murfreesboro; eight grandchildren, Quade Gentry, Jake Gentry, Dallas Hall, Tatum Hall, Clay Gibbons, Ashley Harville, Lily Gibbons and Noah Gibbons; and one great-grandson, Edward James Gibbons.

Pallbearers will be John Gentry, Brian Scarborough, Jeremy Gentry, Jeremiah Hollingsworth, Luke Hollingsworth, and David Fisher.
