Lovell Fowler, 98, of Dyersburg, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of Cottonwood Grove Baptist Church.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny O'Guin officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her five daughters, Betty Lou Johnson of Obion, Mildred Marie Leake and Linda Faye Smith, both of Ridgely and Barbara Ann Whitt and Freida Joyce Hardee, both of Dyersburg; four sons, John Wayne Fowler and Jackie Ray Fowler, both of Ridgely, Larry Dennis Fowler of Ripley and Roger Dale Fowler of Newbern; one sister, Evelyn Gerson of Las Vegas, NV; thirty-one grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Fowler; a daughter, Mary Alice McClain; her parents, John and Clara Barner; two sisters, Maybelle Johannsen and Avanelle Barner; and two brothers, John Henry Barner and Thomas Barner.
Pallbearers will be Eugene McClain, Joseph Stewart, Zachary Oliphant, Hunter Bolden, Jason Leake and Bradley Eason.
