Louise Sewell "Mama Eze" Criswell, 82, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
She was retired as a production worker for Sylvania, a member of East Court Street Church of Christ, a member of Senior Circle, and a former day care operator.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Richardson and Sister Mildred Osborne officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 3-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Sheila Richardson of Dyersburg; four sons, Billy Criswell of Oklahoma City, Okla., Wayne Criswell of Dyer, Larry Criswell of Norfolk, Va., and Chris Criswell of Dyersburg; a sister, Pearl Gamble of Dyersburg; 10 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Criswell Sr. and Sammy G. Criswell; her parents, Walter and Beedie Sewell; four sisters, Mable Spain, Lucille Reed, Maurine Glover and Emma Summitt; brothers Roy Sewell, Royce Sewell and Loyce Sewell; and her mini-schnauzer, Smoky.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Kilzer, Ben Richardson, Charlie Richardson, Buddy Criswell, Steve Criswell and Larry Criswell Jr.
