Loretta Ramey, 72, of Newbern, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at her residence.

She was retired from Dyersburg Fabrics, where she worked in the Spring Needle Department for 34 years. She was an avid bingo player and rose gardener. She was a Baptist.

Services for Mrs. Loretta will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Mac Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery.

The Ramey Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Ernest Ramey of Newbern; two daughters, Tammy Kathryn Pike and husband, Jessie, of Dyersburg and Jennifer Daniels and fiancé , James Bundy, of Newbern; a son, Jody Lynn Daniels and wife, Diane, of Dyersburg; a step-daughter, Darlene Ramey White and husband, Bobby, of Dyersburg; two sisters, Joan Wade of Dyersburg and Jeannie Pleasant of Halls; three grandchildren, Trevor Murray and wife, Morgan, of Newbern, Niki Jowers and husband, Trevor, and Dylan Lynn Daniels, all of Dyersburg; and three great-grandchildren, Knox Lee Murray, Kylee Jowers and Kasen Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, L.M. and Edith Morris Petty; and several brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Trevor Murray, Larry Pleasant, Jessie Orchard, Neal Bundy, Tim Murray and Bobby White.
