Lorene Carroll's Obituary
Lorene Carroll, 79, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at The Bridge at Ridgely.
She was born on October 9, 1938, in Baldwyn, MS, to the late Andrew Blufford Jones and the late Dolly Mae Curtis Jones. Mrs. Lorene was a homemaker. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ, 1075 Vendall Road, Dyersburg, TN and a minister of the church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2018 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Basham officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the funeral home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Gale Basham and husband, Dale, of Ridgely and Debbie Williams and husband, Mike, of Dyersburg; a sister, Elsie Turner of Ridgely; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Carroll; a sister, Jean Willis; two brothers, Ernest Jones and Leroy Jones; and two great-grandchildren, John Coffman and Macala Cochran.
Pallbearers will be Mike Williams, Chase Joy, Justin Whitson, Calan Cochran, Adriene Harris and Robert McCoy.
