Ms. Lois Yvonne Walker passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 at West Tennessee Healthcare-Jackson General Hospital.  She was born December 17, 1944 to the late Clarence & Elvie Swader.  She spent over 35 years working for Kroger in Dyersburg, running the deli department.  She and her husband were long-time members of The Sanctuary Church and enjoyed collecting glassware and fishing and camping with family and friends.

Lois is survived by her children, Amy Maupin & Mike Walker, her granddaughters, Courtney & Lindsay Maupin, a great-grandson, Brantley Anderson, her brothers, George, Clarence, Cecil & John Swader and her faithful companion, Dash.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Walker, her parents, her brother, Billy Swader and sister, Gloria Daily.

Visitation will be held at Dyersburg Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Ron Lovins.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George Swader, Mark Maupin, Larry McCormack, Steve Puckett, Chris Carroll and Mike Stephens.

The family ask that memorial donations be directed to the Dyersburg/Dyer County Humane Society.
