Linda Cates Warren Evans, 76, of Memphis, formerly of Dyersburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.

She was born on February 23, 1943, in Linden, TN, to the late Elmo and Ruby Cates Warren. Linda was a homemaker.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2019 at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Billy Tucker officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Tonya Evans of Memphis; a son, Jeffery Evans of Memphis; two sisters, Mary Hallum and Rebecca Pugh, both of Dyersburg; and a brother, Ricky Hornsby of Dyersburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Evans; and a brother, Bill Warren.
