Linda Jo Smith, age 79 of Dyersburg, TN passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022 at her residence.

She was born on July 17, 1943 in Dyersburg, TN to the late Arthur & Dellar Quick King. Linda was a homemaker and owned her own beauty shop for over 15 years. Linda was a devout christian lady and attended the community Bible study in Dyersburg for over 30 years. She attended services at the Union Mission and Parish Chapel Baptist Church. Linda also has a profound love for Christmas and the holiday season.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 11 until 1 at Dyersburg Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 1 P.M. in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home conducted by Bro Danny Griffin. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter Sharon Baucom of Dyersburg, TN; one brother, Bernie King (Peggy) of Smyrna, TN; one sister, Freda Baucom of Dyersburg, TN; two granddaughters, Stephanie Kissell (Derek) and Kasey Paulk; three great-grandchildren, Madalyn Davis, Jacob Paulk, and Elaina Kissell; one great great-grandson, Jaxson Swindle and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family that she dearly loved.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Paul (Sonny) Smith; one son, Mike Smith; six brothers, Howard King, Harvey King, Bob King, Cletis King, JT King and Silas King; one sister, Norma Thompson; two grandsons, Chris Paulk and Stephan Paulk; and one great great-granddaughter, Kinzleigh Montgomery.

Honoring Linda as pallbearers will be Derek Kissell, Andy Butler, Robert Barker, Terry Burns, Roger Little and Dustin Rigsby.

The family as that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Linda's honor.
