Linda Faye Roberts, 74, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Linda was born on August 12, 1947, in Galena Park, TX, to Flora Louette Wilson and the late Corbett Earnest Wilson. She was a nurse with the State of Tennessee and had formerly worked with Sylvania, First Citizens Bank and for several local health organizations. As a nurse, she had passed the RN test for all 50 states. Linda was President of the Family Support Group of the 269th Military Police Company when they went to Desert Shield and Desert Storm in 1990 and 1991. She had received several FEMA certificates for her work during disasters. She was the former President of the Dyer County Republican Party, former President of the State Executive Committee Woman for the Western District of Tennessee and was a Representative at the Republican Convention of 2004 in New York. Linda was a member of Northside Church of Christ.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2021 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Jim Chamblee officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Elton Roberts of Dyersburg, TN; three sons, Jeff Haynes of Chandler, OK, Tim Haynes of Dyersburg, TN and Jason Roberts of Jackson, MS; her mother, Flora Wilson of Finger, TN; eighteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her father, Linda was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeffrey Lloyd Haynes, II; and a brother, Corbett Ernest Wilson, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Haynes, Tim Haynes and Josh Haynes.
