Linda Lou Allen's Obituary
Linda Lou Allen, 68, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at her residence.
She was a homemaker and attended Beech Grove Baptist Church.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Carmon Dennison officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Hugh Allen of Dyersburg; three daughters, Penny Goddard and husband, Tony, of Franklin, IN, Patricia Miller and husband, Dave, of Edinburgh, IN and Sarah Portus and companion, John McCaslin of Gibson, TN; three sons, Toney Goldsmith and companion, Tony Mann, James Goldsmith and wife, Carlene, and Steve Goldsmith and wife, Tisha, all of Dyersburg; one brother, Jimmy Atchison and wife, Joyce, of Dyersburg; fourteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ila Kent Atchison; two sisters, Charlene Hodges and Leler Atchison; one grandson; and two Labradors, B.J. and Bo.
Pallbearers will be Mike Davenport, Chris Davenport, Donnie Davenport, Larry Pleasant, Jason Atchison and Jimmy Atchison.
