Linda Lou Bland, 79, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Born on May 9, 1945, in Unionville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Norma Dorothy Gibson Young. Linda was the retired owner of Q-Mart and enjoyed going to concerts with her good friend Ruth Bryant. She loved to go out and eat fish, shop, especially on QVC, and was a Baptist by faith. Linda cherished her family deeply.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2025 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Turner officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, James C. Boyd, Jr. (Rachel) of Butte, MT; a daughter, Lisa Bryant (Tim) of Dyersburg, TN; two brothers, Luther "Luke" Young, Jr. of Finley, TN and William "Willie" Young of Dyersburg, TN; two sisters, Doris Timmer (Roger) of The Villages, FL and Sandra Sanchez (Leo) of Dyersburg, TN; three grandchildren, Amber Phillips (Jon), Timothy Bryant (Morgen) and Justin Bryant (Pam); six great-grandchildren, Hanna Phillips, Carter Phillips, Khyleigh Wilson, Julie Bryant, Brantley Bryant and Baylee Bryant; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Bland; her twin sister, Brenda Patterson; and five brothers, Kenneth "Pete" Young, Rupert "Bubba" Young, Billie Reed Young, Jimmy "Tex" Young and David Young.

Serving as pallbearers will be Timothy Bryant, Jackie Davis, Johnny Willis, Jason Harper, Wade Jackson and Hunter Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Bryant and Leonardo Sanchez.
