Lillie Mai Armstrong Rutledge, 94, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009 at Dyersburg Manor.
She was a homemaker, a member of First United Pentecostal Church and a member of Summer Hill Garden Club.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Lovins and the Rev. Jim Wolfgang officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Rutledge Cooper and husband, James, of Dyersburg; a son, Darrell Rutledge and wife, Ruth, of Nashville; six grandchildren, Jimmy Cooper (Kathy), Cheryl Bennett (Jeff), Michael Rutledge, Stephen Rutledge, Phoebe R. Smith (Steve) and Ashlee Rutledge; seven great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Allene Inman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Rutledge; her parents, Eugene and Lennie Bell Armstrong; a sister, Beatrice Armstrong Prichett; and six brothers, Will Armstrong, Roger Armstrong, Howard Armstrong, Bert Armstrong, Harvey Armstrong and Clyde Armstrong.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Cooper, Jeff Bennett, Michael Rutledge, Stephen Rutledge, Steve Smith and Daniel Smith.
Memorials may be directed to the building fund of The Sanctuary Church in Dyersburg.
