Lillie Maurine Nale, 77, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at AHC Healthcare.

She was born on November 14, 1945, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Charles Edward Ray and Rachel LaRue Ray. Lillie was a homemaker and was a member of Hawthorne Baptist Church.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Edward Morris officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her three daughters, Helen Yvonne Sweat of Dyersburg, TN, Donna Jane Nelson (Brian) of Union City, TN and Kelley Elizabeth Ratliff (John) of Finley, TN; a son, Michael Bruce Gurley (Tina) of Dyersburg, TN; three sisters, Rose Marie Hogue (Peck) of Halls, TN, Coralie Enochs (Robbie) and Elisa Westmoreland (Ronnie) all of Dyersburg, TN; a brother, Robert Lynn Ray of Dyersburg, TN; nine grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Lillie was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Bruce Gurley and Wesley Blue Nale; two brothers, Charles Edward Ray and Johnny Hardwood Ray; and a son-in-law, Ricky Allen Sweat.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Ables, Bryan Ables, Hunter Gurley, Brandon Gibson, Jordan Barber and Jason Traverse. Honorary pallbearer will be Mark Davis.
