Lillie B. Hollis, 92, of Dyersburg, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.

She was a retired custodian at Jennie Walker Dyersburg City School. Ms. Hollis was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, where she worked in the nursery from 1975-1990.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Mac Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The Hollis Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her two daughters, Doris Hollis Essary of Dyersburg and husband, Eddy Essary of Lubbock, TX and Teresa Pease and husband, William, of Dyersburg; a son, Larry Hollis and wife, Brenda, of Lenox; a sister, Jane Hines of Muncie, IN; four grandchildren, Tina Valois and husband, Jim, of North Carolina, John T. Hollis of Dyersburg, Tess Holley and Edie Goodnight and husband, Jeff, all of Texas; five great-grandchildren, Ashleigh Holley, A.J. Holley, Kaleigh Goodnight, Jacob Goodnight and Michael Rhodes and wife, Heather; three great-great-grandchildren, Corban Rhodes, Jacob Rhodes and Lillie Mae Rhodes; a nephew, Tony Hines of Muncie, IN; and two nieces, Sharon Baker and Charlotte Morris, both of Muncie, IN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Hollis; a son, James Hollis; her parents, Henry and Ollie Forn Acklin; and a brother, Buddy Acklin.

Pallbearers will be Marty Lamb, Parker Lamb, Jim Valois, John T. Hollis, Charles Harris and Lynn Parker.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the American Diabetes Association, 5583 Murray Ave, Memphis, TN 38119
