She was born March 24, 1958 in South Miami, Florida and was a Registered Nurse and worked as a Certified Case Manager for the Broadspire Healthcare Co.

She is survived by her mother, Peggy Willis and father, Elmer "Sonny" Braden and wife, Beverly, her husband, David Lee Ward, all of Dyersburg, two sons, Randy Bain and wife, Kena of Thompson's Station, TN and Timothy, "TJ" Bain and wife, Brooke, of Springfield, MO, two daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Smith of Dyersburg and Mellanie Marie Ward of Chattanooga, TN, one brother, Sonny N. Braden of Aurora, IL and a step-brother, Michael Bond of Tampa, FL, a step-sister, Lisa Bond Spesia of Coal City, IL, Rachel Breen and two grandchildren, Bailey Bain " My Sunshine"  and Brennan Lee Bain "Nanna's Lil Man".  She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brayden Michelle Bain.

The family will receive visitors from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 with funeral services to be held at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Michael Walker with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Brent Lewis, Nathan Ward, Matthew Braden, Kevin Danley, John Ray and Todd Winchester.

The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
