Lewis Barton Palmer, 52, of Cordova, TN formerly of Dyersburg, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 at his residence.
He was born on October 30, 1964 in Millington, TN. Bart was a security technician for Protection One Security in Memphis. He was a member of Jamestown Church of Christ and was a talented musician and guitarist.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Mr. Scott Owen officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his companion, Mary Martha "Margy" Harvill; his mother, Thelma Jean Palmer; a sister, Vicki Nicks; a brother, David Nicks; two nieces, Stacey Cowles Williams and Lindsay Webb Bennett; a nephew, Mike Nicks; five great-nephews; and three great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Byron Palmer; and a nephew, Johnathan David Nicks.
Pallbearers will be Matt Butler, Jamie Adams, Shane Ownby, Jeff Ownby, Wayne Snyder and Brian Mallard. Honorary pallbearer will be Mark Pipkin.
