Lavern Fisher Shaw, 86, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Lavern was born on March 27, 1933, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late L.C. and Bennie Vaughn Fisher. She was a retired operator for AT&T and was a graduate of Friendship High School. Lavern was a member of Fowlkes Baptist Church.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2020 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny O'Guin officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation for Lavern Shaw will be from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Bobby L. Shaw of Dyersburg.

Pallbearers will be past and present members of the Dyersburg High School Trojan Basketball Team.
