Larry Ray Vestal, 66, of Fowlkes, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was a maintenance employee for Hexpol Colonial Rubber and attended Independent Free Holiness Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Independent Free Holiness Church with the Rev. Calvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Sorrells Chapel Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home and from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Dot Vestal of Fowlkes; two daughters, Amy Vestal McNutt (Jeremy) of Trimble and Melissa Vestal Smith of Camden; two step-sons, Richard Sanders and Chris Sanders, both of Covington; four sisters, Peggy Schults of Tuscaloosa, AL, Martha Turner of Dyersburg, Faye Riley (Reed) of Fowlkes and Joan Andjuar (Tony) of Puerto Rico; seven brothers, Wayne Vestal (Carolyn), Tim Vestal (Valerie) and Duran Vestal, all of Dyersburg, Dwayne Vestal (Brenda) of St. Louis, MO, Lanny Vestal (Brenda) and Terry Vestal (Cathy), all of Fowlkes and Jamie Vestal (Ima) of Finley; nine grandchildren, Tyler McNutt, Dylan McNutt, Spencer McNutt, Sarah Moros, Richard Sanders, Michael Sanders, Justin Sanders, Adam Sanders and Chandler Sanders; a great-grandchild, Robert Neal Moros; and a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Lee and Irine Bizzle Vestal; a grandchild, Brittany Nicole Vestal McNutt; and two brothers, Andrew Vestal and Thomas Evon Vestal.

Pallbearers will be Chris Vestal, Michael Vestal, Greg Vestal, Lance Vestal, Jake Cagle and Tim Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Hicks, Mark Harris, David Brewer, Robert Pace, Lowell Welch and Ricky Vestal.
