Larry Gene Parker, 73, of Dyersburg, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at his residence.
He was a retired fork lift operator at Ford Motor Company in Chicago Heights, IL., where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of Reelfoot Lake Crappie Club and served in the Army National Guard.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Crandall officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda M. Parker of Dyersburg; a daughter, Donna Kay Bruce and husband, Jim, of Lowell, IN.; two sons, Larry G. Parker II of Lowell, IN. and Lonnie T. Parker of Dyersburg; a brother, L.J. Parker of Portage, IN.; two grandchildren, Destiney P. Bruce and Andrew L. Parker; a step-granddaughter, Renee Lucka; and two step-great-grandchildren, Aubrie Lucka and Daniel Lucka.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Effie Lovelace Parker; and four sisters, Nannie Lee Wright, Jean Keltner, Dorothy Tidwell and Shirlene Gibson.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Tidwell II, Brian Parker, Cody Anderson, Jimmy Figgins, Dan Lucka and Jim Bruce.
