Larry Lee Henkle, 82, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at his residence.

Larry was born on September 8, 1940, in Waterloo, IA to the late, DeWayne and Elanor Christi Henkle. He was a machinist with Johns Manville Company and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Larry loved to tell jokes and always tried to put a smile on everyone's face. He always tried to help by donating to the March of Dimes, the Shriner's, the veteran's and many other charitable organizations.

Memorial visitation for Mr. Henkle will be Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 2:00 until 4:00 at Dyersburg Funeral Home - Ridgely Chapel.

Survivors include his four daughters, Julie Stewart (Gregory) of Ridgely, TN, Mariann Smedegard of Park City, IL, Kathleen Lange of Guernsey, WY and Beverly Ayala of Robstown, TX; a brother, Gary Henkle (Veda) of Fort Meyers, FL; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Henkle.
