Larry Gordon Cook's Obituary
Larry Gordon Cook, 77, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.
He was born on December 22, 1940, in Bonicord, TN, to the late Ray Cook and the late Louise Malone Cook. He was a retired parts manager for Delta Autoplex, where he worked for 48 years. Larry was a member and deacon at Second Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Koonce and Mr. Tommy Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The Cook Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Danita Cook of Dyersburg; a daughter, Carol Ann Cook of Dyersburg; a sister, Marilee Neal and husband, David, of Murray, KY; and a brother, Randy Cook and wife, Terry, of Dyersburg.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Provine.
Pallbearers will be Randy Cook, Larry Smith, Tommy Campbell, Tommy Sims, Doug Nicholson and Anthony Parham. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Dunn, Billy Martindale, Fentress Joslin, Jim Gray, Eddie Little, Nick Atwell, Shawn Criswell and Edgar Davison.
The family requests that memorials be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
