Larry Clayton Butler's Obituary
Larry Clayton Butler, of Newbern, age 72, passed away Saturday at his residence.
He was retired at Colonial Rubber and a retired self employed Custom Baler. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church at Newbern.
Services will be 1 pm Monday, February 9, 2015 at Dyersburg Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Bro. Jackie Harris and Dr. Bill Oakley. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 pm Sunday at the Dyersburg Funeral Home.
He was survived by his wife, Mary Nell Colvin Butler, Newbern; two daughters, Denita Dobis of Dyersburg and Misty Lynn Sego, Newbern; two sons David Butler of Trimble and William Eugene Sudbury, of Union City; one brother John W. Butler of Miami, FL; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Butler and Lucille Kelley Butler.
Pallbearers will Billy Hicks, David Oliver, Terry Oliver, Johnny Johnson, Timothy Phillips, and John Curtis Hicks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Dyer Co. Cancer Fund.
