Lane Langley Koonce, 66, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was retired from the maintenance department with Colonial Rubber and a member of Middle City Church of Jesus Christ.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Webb officiating. Burial will be in Bell Vernon Cemetery in Friendship.
The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Koonce of Dyersburg; a daughter, Tammy Walter and husband, Jon, of Dyersburg; a son, Tim Koonce and wife, Shellye, of Dyersburg; five sisters, Mary Thompson and Beverly Smith, both of Dyersburg, Sandra Phillips of Alamo, Bonnie Peery of Memphis and Dorothy Steelman of Gates; and four brothers, Ronnie Koonce of Alamo, Lloyd Koonce, Ricky Koonce and Larry Koonce, all of Dyersburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Frances Langley Koonce; and three brothers, Val Koonce, Eugene Koonce and Perry Koonce.
Pallbearers will be Steve North, Harry Smith, Jr., Jerry Thompson, Jr., Steve Carroll, Kyle Paschall Ricky Sanders, Mike Sanders and Gary Anderson.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Dyersburg Cancer Fund.
