Kenny Ray Foster, 47, of Ridgely, died Saturday, May 16, 2009 in Nashville.
He was a self-employed auto repossesser for banks and attended Phillipy Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Bramlett officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Ginny Whitney of Friendship; two stepsons, Chris McDonough and Chad McDonough, both of Nashville; his parents, Kenneth Ray and Shirley Foster of Pleasant View; a sister, Rhonda Whitt and husband, Joey, of Pleasant View; a brother, Joseph Foster and wife, Sandra, of Miston; a step-niece he raised, Danielle Hensley of Nashville; and his grandmother, Frances Canada of Dyersburg.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Luther and Marie Foster and Woodrow Canada.
Pallbearers will be Steve Sartin, Billy Kohilka, Ralph Whitney, Gerald Canada, Roland VanCamp and Timmy Crosno. Honorary pallbearers will be Rocky Foster, Jason Foster, Donald Peery, Frankie Canada, Jeff Hooper and Danny Burrus.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society.
