Kenneth Wayne Westbrook, age 78, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Diversicare of Martin.

Kenneth was born on October 18, 1943, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Kenneth O. and Beatrice Hilliard Westbrook. He was a member and minister of Oak Grove Church of Christ. Kenneth was a principal and teacher in the Dyer County School System, served as a Dyersburg City Alderman, Dyer County Commissioner and as the Dyer County Executive from 1982-1990.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2021 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Gaithor Key and Bro. Tom Butler officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The Westbrook Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Westbrook of Dyersburg, TN; a daughter, Cindy Westbrook Hutching and husband, Jim, of Dyersburg, TN; two grandchildren, Tyler Hutching and Connor Hutching; two aunts, Doris Brown of Finley, TN and Shirley Jones of Dyersburg, TN; and a host of cousins and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Jim Hutching, Tyler Hutching, Connor Hutching, Rusty Hilliard, George Hollingsworth, Michael Parr and Fred Hanks. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the men of Oak Grove Church of Christ.
