Obituary

Mr. Kenneth Algie Shipley, of Dyersburg, TN. passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 at West TN Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital.  He was born Sept. 20, 1950 to Mildred & Algie Shipley.  He attended McCullough Chapel Baptist Church and was a Mason.  Over the years, he was a truck driver, a DeeJay and a paramedic for 25 years.  He was a Deputy for the Dyer County Sherriff's Office under Sherriff Robert Willard and served in the United States Army.

He is survived by his sons, Kenneth Brian Shipley and wife, Terri, of Dyersburg, Jeremy Thomas Shipley of Murfreesboro, two daughters, Tammy Shipley and Amanda Parker, of Dyersburg, two brothers, Dennis Shipley and wife, Shyann, of Memphis and Jeff Shipley of Ripley, two sisters, Joan Criswell and husband, Otha "Red", and Angie Smith and husband, Kenny) both of Ripley, and Nine Grandchildren and Five Great-Grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Algie and Mildred Baker Shipley.

The family will receive visitors at Dyersburg Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.  Burial Services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at the Parker's Crossroads Veterans Cemetery.
