Kenneth Nicholas "Nick" Alley, 26, of Halls, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was an electrician with Electric Motor Service, attended Holy Angels Catholic Church, 2002 graduate of Dyer County High School and an avid Memphis Tigers Basketball Fan.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Father Bob Stellini and the Rev. Stan Cavness officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Halls.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his three daughters, Liz Vaughn, McKenzie Alley and Lindzey Alley, all of Halls; his fiancé, Maggie Cherry of Halls; his mother, Sandy Hayes Thayer and her fiancé, Anthony Patterson, both of Ripley; his father and step-mother, Kenneth W. Alley, Jr. and Sarah Alley, both of Dyersburg; three sisters, Andi Ramer of San Diego, CA., Abbey Alley of Dyersburg and Alena Thayer of Ripley; two brothers, Ian Alley and Ben Alley, both of Dyersburg; his grandparents, Kenneth W. Alley, Sr. and wife, Dorothy, of Dyersburg and Jackie Hayes of Halls; his great-grandmother, Evelyn Walden of Dyersburg; a special brother-in-law, Mickey Cherry of Halls; two sister-in-laws, Bessie Cherry and Becca Cherry, both of Halls; and his mother-in-law, Linda Cherry of Halls.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Hayes and his father-in-law, James F. "Mickey" Cherry.
Pallbearers will be Charles England, Michael Alley, Michael Ward, Jeremy Ward, Kliff McCollum and Adam Henry.
